4. Data collection on this website

Cookies

Our internet pages use so-called "cookies". Cookies are small data packets and do not cause any damage to your terminal device. They are stored either temporarily for the duration of a session (session cookies) or permanently (permanent cookies) on your terminal device. Session cookies are automatically deleted after the end of your visit. Permanent cookies remain stored on your terminal device unti l you delete them yourself or an automatic deletion is carried out by your web browser.

Cookies can come from us (first-par ty cookies) or from third-party companies (so-called third-party cookies). Third-party cookies enable the integration of certain services of third-party companies within websites (e.g., cookies for processing payment services).

Cookies have various functions. Numerous cookies are technically necessary, as certain website functions would not work without them (e.g., the shopping cart function or the display of videos). Other cookies can be used for the evaluation of user behavior or for advertising purposes.

Cookies that are required for the execution of the electronic communication process, for the provision of certain functions you desire (e.g., for the shopping cart function), or for the optimization of the website (e.g., cookies for measuring the web audience) (necessary cookies) are stored on the basis of Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR, unless another legal basis is specified. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the storage of necessary cookies for the technically error-free and optimized provision of their services. If consent for the storage of cookies and comparable recognition technologies has been requested, processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of this consent (Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a GDPR and § 25 Para. 1 TDDDG); consent can be revoked at any time.

You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and only allow cookies in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or generally, and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. Deactivating cookies may limit the functionality of this website.

If other cookies and services are used on this website, you can find this out from this privacy policy.

Contact by e-mail, telephone, or fax

If you contact us by e-mail, telephone, or fax, your inquiry including all resulting personal data (name, inquiry) will be stored and processed by us for the purpose of processing your request. We do not pass this data on without your consent.

The processing of this data is based on Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b GDPR, provided your inquiry is related to the fulfillment of a contract or is necessary for the implementation of pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, processing is based on our legitimate interest in the effective processing of inquiries addressed to us (Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR) or on your consent (Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a GDPR) if it has been  requested; consent can be revoked at any time.

The data you send to us via contact inquiries remains with us until you request us to delete it, revoke your consent for storage, or the purpose for data storage no longer applies (e.g., after completion of your request). Mandatory statutory provisions – in particular statutory retention periods – remain unaffected.

5. Newsletter

Newsletter data

If you wish to receive the newsletter offered on the website, we require an e-mail address from you as well as information that allows us to verify that you are the owner of the specified e-mail address and agree to receive the newsletter. Further data is not collected or only on a voluntary basis. We use this data exclusively for sending the requested information and do not pass it on to third parties.

The processing of the data entered into the newsletter registration form is carried out exclusively on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a GDPR). You can revoke the granted consent for the storage of data, the e-mail address, and its use for sending the newsletter at any time, for example, via the "Unsubscribe" link in the newsletter. The legality of the data processing operation s already carried out remains unaffected by the revocation.

The data deposited by you for the purpose of receiving the newsletter will be stored by us or the newsletter service provider until you unsubscribe from the newsletter and will be deleted from the newsletter distribution list after unsubscribing from the newsletter or after the purpose no longer applies. We reserve the right to delete or block e-mail addresses from our newsletter distribution list at our own discretion within the framework of our legiti mate interest according to Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR.

Data stored for other purposes with us remains unaffected by this.

After unsubscribing from the newsletter distribution list, your e-mail address may be stored in a blacklist by us or the newsletter service provider, if this is necessary to prevent future mailings. The data from the blacklist is only used for this purpose and is not merged with other data. This serves both your interest and our interest in complying with the legal requirements when sending newsletters (legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR). The storage in the blacklist is not limited in time. You can object to the storage, provided your interests outweigh our legitimate interest.

Newsletter delivery to existing customers

If you order goods or services from us and deposit your e-mail addres s here, this e-mail address can subsequently be used by us for sending newsletters, provided we inform you about this in advance. In such a case, only direct marketing for our own similar goods or services will be sent via the newsletter. The sending of this newsletter can be canceled by you at any time. For this purpose, you will find a corresponding link in every newsletter. The legal basis for sending the newsletter in this case is Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR in conjunction with § 7 Para. 3 UWG.

After unsubscribing from the newsletter distribution list, your e-mail address may be stored in a blacklist by us, in order to prevent future mailings to you.
